3 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park

For such a small country, it is surprisingly endowed with a number of natural habitats and wildlife and other tourism products and among these is the famous Queen Elizabeth national park that lies on the bottom of the Albetine rift valley. Detailed program

Day One: Arrival at Entebbe airport – Queen Elizabeth National park

You will be picked up from the airport (depending on your flight) byour driver your guide who will brief you about the tour and then transfer to Queen Elizabetn national park. We will have a stopover at Kayabwe for water experiments, pictures and shop for souveniers. After lunch at igongo cultural centre Mbarara, we will continue to the south of west and head to the western rift valley. We will enter the park with a mini game drive in search of wildlife such as water bucks, bushbucks, kobs, buffaloes, elephants, jackals, hippos, warthog, lions and leopards among others. We proceed and check into our accommodation for dinner and overnight stay at Twin lakes safari lodge.

Day Two: Game drive and Boat Cruise

The day begins early as we go for our morning game drive, heading to Kasenyi plains towards the kobs mating grounds in search of wildlife that that may include water bucks, bushbucks, kobs, buffaloes,elephants, jackals, hippos, warthog, lions and leopards among others. The game drive normally takes 2-3 hrs before returning for breakfast. In the afternoon, we take a boat cruise along the kazinga channel, a natural link between Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel accommodates abundant wildlife, hundreds of birds that are sighted fishing in the channel and hundreds of hippos that are cooling off the shores. This cruise will definitely be one of the highlights of your safari. Dinner and overnight at Twin lakes safari Lodge.

Day Three: Departure

After breakfast, we will take a tour to Katwe salt lake, the biggest of the only two productive salt lakes in this park. Here, the salt is extracted locally by the local communities for them to earn a living in their families. You will also be able to know the productive gears these people need for their bodies while at work. We later proceed onto Entebbe with another stopover at the equator for toilet break and souvenir shopping. From there, we drive straight to the airport for your flight back home depending on your time of flight.
