Day One: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest
Depart Entebbe or Kampala for your 9hr road transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest. En route meet and interact with the royal drum makers, stopover at the equator and capture photographic memories, you will find out that Ugandans are friendly and are eager to interact with visitors. Continue to Mbarara for lunch then embark on your scenic drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest. Dine and slumber at Rushaga gorilla camp
Day Two: Gorilla trekking
After an early morning breakfast, with our packed lunch, we go to the park offices for briefing at around 8:00am and later start the gorilla trekking entering the forest, the natural habitat of the gorillas. Your gorilla trekking adventure has just begun. It may take 3 to 8 hrs under muddy and strenuous conditions, sometimes with rain over head. But all these conditions cease to be a challenge the moment you come face to face with the amazing mountain gorillas. Day Three: Departure
After your breakfast, you will be driven back to Kampala or Entebbe to your post tour accommodation or you may choose to fly out of Uganda today. Enroute to make occasional stops to have a glimpse of Uganda’s rural life, watch herds men tend to their cattle and take in the beautiful landscape as it all unfolds before you. A visit to the drum makers is one you shouldn’t miss, get to a sneak into the process of making traditional drums. The experience is just magical and unforgatable.
